This is how we work.
Our team of experienced and friendly physiotherapists provide personalised care tailored to your unique needs. We take the time to listen, assess, and develop a treatment plan that works for you. From sports injuries to everyday aches and pains, we’ve got you covered.
01.
We listen.
Our one-on-one sessions are longer than most regular Newcastle physiotherapy consultations so we can really understand what’s going on for you. Our initial consultations are 45 minutes long so we can chat, access thoroughly and get to the bottom of what’s going on for you. Our follow up appointments are 30 minutes long.
02.
We assess.
Once the talking’s done, we see how you move. Let’s check your range of motion, get muscle testing happening and do specific tests to really understand what’s holding you back from returning to play. A clear assessment means a clear plan of action.
03.
We look at the numbers.
Our motto is ‘If you’re not assessing, you’re guessing!’, so we’re passionate about quantifying measures to track your progress and use The AxIT System to run our numbers. We graph your progress and compare your test results with the expected norms of your age group so we can get you on track for the best rehab possible.
04.
We chat.
Education is key – before we help you feel better, we take a deep dive into what’s going on. We know how confusing information about injuries and recovery can be, that’s why we believe that understanding and rehab go hand in hand. From back or neck pain to workers compensation physiotherapy and post-surgical rehab to sports injuries or injury prevention, we’ve got you covered. Got plenty of questions? Ask away. That’s what we’re here for.
05.
We get you back in the game.
We use hands-on therapy like manual therapy, massage, mobilisations, stretching, dry needling, taping and bracing plus personalised exercise programs to get you out of pain and onto your recovery journey. Whether your end game is to run a marathon, or just peg the clothes on the line, pain free, we’re here to get you back doing what you love.
