We want you to feel as comfy as possible, so exercise clothes are your best bet. It’s also easiest to wear clothes that expose the area of concern, for example shorts for knees and singlets for shoulders. But don’t panic! We do have shorts and gowns as required if you’re doing the quick dash from work to make sure you’re comfortable and our assessment is thorough.
Here at NUmoves Physio, we recognise that it takes time to really get to the bottom of each individual’s concerns. That’s why we allow 45 mins for our initial consultation, and then 30 mins for all appointments following.
If you can try and arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment, that will give plenty of time to fill out any documents for admin purposes. If you’re running late, please give us a call as this may affect others’ appointment times.
The short answer is no, a referral isn’t necessary. We do however accept EPC referrals from GPs in which you can claim the Medicare rebate.
Yes, we can claim HICAPS at your appointment. Please bring along your digital or physical card and we can do this for you on the day.
Yes, we do! Our physiotherapists are passionate about helping all individuals in their journey to move better and depending on your needs, we may be able to help. To make sure that we are the right fit for you, please give us a call and we would love to chat about your physio goals.
If you need to change your appointment, please call us ASAP. This allows us to open times to other clients that may need to see us. This is important to allow us to continue to provide an excellent physiotherapy service. A cancellation fee applies for cancelling on the day of the appointment. This fee is not claimable on health funds and must be paid at the next consultation.
